Optional Check Points?

As you may have heard, the 2026 Wolverine 5K race route will be fairly simple with only 5 easy to find mandatory check points.

The 5 mandatory check points along the 5K ruck race route will have unique hole punches to mark your patrol route card, to prove that you were there. Plus, the normal intel to gather to report in you Observation Log and Communications Log for extra points. Although, communications will have additional coding involved. The Intel Report has been updated for your reference in the field.

To stay on the correct trails and to find FRAGO missions along the way, you will still need to know how to plot an 8-digit grid on a map and how to follow basic cardinal directions.

For those who are more adventurous and skillful, there will multiple optional high value check points to find for added bonus points.
